An explanation of the "internal allocation" process within the off-plan buying process in El Gouna, through Orascom.

What's the "Internal Allocation" Process at Orascom, in El Gouna?

Interested buyers can choose their top 3 or 4 favourite options, and these are then "allocated" internally to interested parties, who can accept or reject them.

Here's some context around what an "internal allocation" is in our off-plan developments at Orascom, and specifically in El Gouna. Essentially, it's a process that usually happens when there's a new release of a selection of units, and there's a waiting group of interested buyers (who are keenly interested in specific unit configurations). By way of example, let's say that you particularly want a 2 bedroom, corner ground floor apartment.

In this situation, assuming an allocation is happening right as you're putting forward your interest, you'd be seeing the overall total units available, where interested buyers would be looking at all of these, which you'd see shared in a brochure. Here, these interested buyers would be choosing their top 3 or 4 favourite options, and these would then be "allocated" internally to interested parties, who could then accept or reject the options provided to them. Generally speaking, the waiting group usually buys almost all of them.

The demand is rather high at times...

Following on from the above example, if acquiring a ground floor, corner apartment is just what you're looking for, this would usually be totally possible to secure. What's required is that you share a copy of your passport, just the picture page, and then you'll go into the "allocation queue" for when the next group of apartments is released. You'd then go through the selection process, but this time with greater priority, as you'd be in the primary list of potential buyers.

This doesn't cost you anything, and you're under no obligations. You're free to accept, or reject what is allocated to you, from your selections at that time.

IF, you don't get just what you're looking for in that allocation, and you request to stay in the allocation queue for the following allocation on the next building release, you'll have a very high priority in the selection process - so in a sense, it's a bit of a waiting game, with a bit of determination to acquire just what you're looking for, and we're here to help ensure you get the ideal apartment, for you.
